Is Shifty is an Australasian World of Warcraft Guild on the Elune server focused on encouraging a family environment while fostering a healthy raiding environment. We're a trans-national with senior guild members on four continents but our peak activity is centered on 8 pm local in Sydney, Australia. (Elune server/US East Coast times: Nov-Feb 4am, Mar 5am, Apr-Sep 6am, Oct 5am)

We have a large proportion of family & friends in our guild with many couples, parent-child and real life friend connections present. Of course, there's still room for more and we offer every opportunity and all the support we can to newcomers. Our extended online community includes informal alliances with a few other guilds and we provide a home for Elune inhabitants that are on in the early hours of a server morning.

A core guild belief is that real life is more important than the game we share. "RL > WOW" is the response when someone has to drop group for family, friends, work or some other issue. There is no activity that the guild pursues exclusively: we have alt-oholics, over achievers, compulsive crafters, PVP addicts, heroic raiders .... and that's just our guild leader! Your game is your choice - we just ask that you respect others' choices and let others have fun the way they prefer.

While we encourage a relaxed approach, we are serious in or approach to the game because when we go for something we bring our main game. Our raid uses DKP, has a WWS site, has forums with discussions and pointers on boss fights and we have a raider's tab on the guild bank with enchant mats & gold for tank repairs. Our raid leader, guild leader and raid assist are veterans of every raid and dungeon since release. We monitor buffs, food & flasks and expect everyone to take personal responsibility for their own actions while in the group.

To help promote a balanced approach we only schedule progression heroic raids on two nights a week, though there are many other scheduled and ad-hoc groups running through-out the week.
